want to share this TV program last nite on channel 8..
it talk abt the old thinking of getting a degree and find a good job and earn big $...
it used to be that way...but i dun think so now....the degree is juz a plafform for me to discover myself..and move on from there...
No longer a sure way to earn big $...
it is abt a SMU graduate wif a B.A biz admin decided to move away from the main stream of his peer and set up his cake biz.
it make me wonder...do i really want to find a job and get a few K at the end of mth and be happy?
Or it there a bigger thing out there waiting for me.
do i have the chance , courage and drive to move away from the main stream?
I dun think i have all 3 now...hopefully..one day..i have the chance..
still rem some of Pq friends..who have the drive and dream to set up their biz..i slatute their passion for their dream..
i admit i have not as high risk taker as them...but no risk no $..no pain no gain.

yesterday at the suntec job fair , i make a fool out of myself...I went to the SCDF side and ask wht the siumlation test is abt?..and the person is who answer me..is the person who call me for the test...so manlu..
FYI, i apply as a senior officer in SCDF..and a few week ago ..they call me for a test but i was not free..so they said they will KIV in Jan.
Thinking deeper, do i really wht to join them, when i think of the 9 mths of training phase , i shiver....being a trainer..is the lowest class of life...have to endure..9 mth of tough training..like army...
I try to study for my ee4532 power electronic...still cannot get a F*** wht it is trying to tell me...

He said some of his friends have been shortlist and even went for the port tour liao...
WHT ABT ME?...No call , no port tour...mean...no hope..
but still got a bit of hope lah...he said they are hiring lot of people due to the expansion plan..maybe i in the 2nd round....juz to say something to make myself feel better..hee
i email the HR liao..hope to say something positive later....

went for a day of interview workshop yesterday from 9am to 5pm..
i got bk only one msg or lesson learnt..all the Q asked ..is to ask one Q.."why shd i hire u"
all the Q asked in different format/ form..give the same answer.." wht shd i hire u"
and i will need to do my homework..to prepare the answer before i go..and nv go too early..for an interview..
Down wif flu yesterday too....felt that the nose was not mine..so blocked and uncomfortable..
But i feeling better altough still a bit blocked...
so many thing to do...but i dun have the energy to do it " FYP, Pro com presentation , quiz, study " and more....
juz plain lazy....maybe it because i sick...blame the flu..heehee...

today..went for a grooming..talk at $80 by Ms Quak , a former Miss Singapore..
I think it is worth investement...that go on a long long way..
At least i know how to choose my shirt and know more abt myself..and how to make myself a little more presenatable i think..
It required a lot of pratice to make urself look "Wow " in front of people..Thank you Ms quak for teaching me the basic..i will try to do wht u have taught me..hee

i got 8 /11 for my EE4532 power electronic quiz...a good surprise...somthing i fear.. but in the end ...scored fairly well in class..
but think it is juz a easy test...the exam is not going to easy i think...

i watch a movie recently wif daring " Rob something " by Jacky chan...so funnie and touching...

suddenly i recall watching this talk show in U channel abt taking abt children and old people..
WHY?..people can go all out to take care of their baby / children...but cannot go all out to take care of the old parent....
one of the reason..given in the show is that bady / children represent hope or future..while old people do not have the same priviiage i think..
To me , i feel that it is true that baby / children is the hope of the furture and we muz take good care of them..as they are not able to take care of themselve...but old people deserve the same care too....cos they have take care of uself...when we are young ..we must be thankfull...

old folk home is the same as children care centre....
they bring the children to the care center.before working parent cannot take care of them as they are working..then the same go to the old parent...they want to ..but ..cannot take care of them while we are working...so they bring the old people to olf folk home to be taken care of ...
